　　針對學(xué)生申請美國高中時推薦信應(yīng)寫有故事情節(jié)的情況，中國老師寫的推薦信的普通問題是太籠統(tǒng)，用中國化的思維模式來介紹學(xué)校聲望、入學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、學(xué)生成績優(yōu)秀等等，這樣不是不好，只是對申請美國高中來講，美國的招生辦更希望家長、老師等提供一些對學(xué)生更有價值的信息。

　　他們不希望看到的僅僅是簡單地陳述學(xué)生多么優(yōu)秀，而是要具體到某一件事上。

　　她認(rèn)為，申請美國高中時提供的推薦信要有故事情節(jié)，是通過實(shí)際發(fā)生的小故事來體現(xiàn)孩子的性格特征、學(xué)習(xí)能力等方面。
